A little about ME:

    

    My name is Savanah Poopathithas and I am an educator from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Currently pursuing my dream job, I teach visual arts and IB art passionately in the inner city. I have had a busy past few months; buying a house with my supportive partner and raising my charming and very energetic, 17 year old step son, who I also teach this year. It has been quite a fulfilling year and I can’t wait to see where this new year will take me. 

    I am now concentrating on improving my skills with adult students and teachers interested in fresh methods in this course. As a fine arts enthusiast, I have always found myself resisting technology, therefore, this might be my biggest challenge yet. I do look forward to learning from you all. My pastimes outside the classroom are my own in terms of art, whether it is a small commissioned work or contributing murals to the city landscape.
